Job Description

Within the Service Design team of the Technology & Operations France (T&OF), the senior technical product manager is responsible for managing and specifying projects for the evolution or creation of Value-Added Services (ACS, FVAP, Virtual Card, …) for the French market or other markets according to opportunities. 
The primary mission for this position will be to work on the ACS product, manage its evolutions with our supplier, and analyze and present the impact to clients.

Mission

  • Collaborate with the Product team to define the high level business requirements for a new service or enhancements of an existing one
    • Contribute to anticipate possible adaptations of the T&OF solutions to integrate and to develop new services.
    • Contribute to the business/technology relationship with the Client (commercial proposal, solution scope definition workshops, assist the clients all along the project starting from the solution scope definition up to the commercial launch....).
  • Handle the relationship with the Product, Client Services, Development, Operations, Cybersecurity, Legal Sourcing and Infrastructure teams
  • Coordinate cross-teams projects by managing technology projects planning and providing cross-team support all along the project phases.
    • Define and monitor key performance indicators to control and guarantee the success of the project and the solution.
    • Collaborate with the Technical Product Managers of the Service Design team
    • Support the development team in building deliverables in accordance with compliance, security and quality standards for Visa required deliverables and the card payment ecosystem
    • Lead the User Acceptance Test strategy 
    • Support to the Operations team to deliver features in production
  • Contribute to the management of the supplier(s) relationship on the following actions
    • Draft of business and technical requirements
    • Analyse Commercial proposal
    • Contribute to the organization, preparation of workshops and follow-up management of projects
    • Contribute to the development and management of the service contracts, in the context of relations with service providers and clients if needed.
  • Assess the operational and regulatory changes impacts on the T&OF services and related solutions (Visa Business Enhancement Releases, other market entity requirements, European banking association regulation…), provide expertise, and support when appropriate.
  • Design the appropriate solution in terms of business and technology requirements
    • Contribute to workshops with the Clients (banks) to ensure a solution aligned with the market expectations
    • Draft detailed processing specifications functional, logical and technical
    • Draft processing requirements in terms of application architecture and operations management and security features
  • Ensure the compliance of the Service Design activities and the security of solution design in terms of processing and Technology (eg. Visa Key Controls, Visa security requirements, PCI-DSS, GDPR, …).
  • Draft of the user acceptance test strategy
    • Define of the user acceptance test plan and cases
    • Coordinate the different actors involved in a User Acceptance Test session
    • Execution of user acceptance test plan
  • Level 3 support for incident/production issue
  • Contribute to the communication towards external customers on the changes made to Visa processing services, by participating in User forum, or Clients workshops.
  • Participate in relevant Payment services technology forums, if requested, in order to identify new services or opportunities.
  • Report to the Service Design Director.

  • All departments of the T&OF direction, including the IT Build, Back-Office Operations, Front Office & Fraud Operations, Architecture Systems and Network, Data Analytics.
  • All the Visa departments for internal support or contribution to the VEF activity, in particular Client Services, Sales, Product, Legal, anti-competition and regulatory teams.

External interactions

Qualifications

Qualifications

Basic qualifications

  • 8+ years of work experience
  • Knowledge of the electronic payment ecosystem
  • Competencies in high level and detailed business requirements specifications
  • Expertise in card payment transactions protocols, flows and processing (e-commerce, PSD2, 3DS, ACS, risk management, digital/card acceptance, acquiring, authorisation, fraud management, clearing and settlement, international and/or domestic schemes)
  • Complex or multidisciplinary project management and client relationship experience
  • Good knowledge or understanding of the requirements and standards for the security of payment systems (cryptographic systems, PCI-DSS, etc.)
  • Experienced in technology design of new solutions


Language

  • French language (mother tongue or bilingual)

Diplomas & Experiences

  • Master degree - BAC +5 (preferably in the IT field)
  • Mid-level to extensive experience in a financial services environment or IS management
  • Experience of complex or multidisciplinary project management and Customer relationship experience
  • Experienced in technology design of new solutions
  • Strong experience in e-commerce and strong customer authentication domains

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
