Position Summary: Performs financial analysis and prepares accurate, transparent and timely financial reports to support leadership in the decision making process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collects, analyzes and interprets complex financial and operating data for 

  • assigned business units and/or corporate functions.

  • Provides decision support to business leadership through the creation of tools, 

  • models, presentations, and dashboards.

  • Prepares reports and analyses in support of monthly, quarterly and annual 

  • financial close processes and ongoing financial activities.

  • Serves as a finance business partner and prepares forecasts and budgets for 

  • assigned business units and/or functional areas.

  • Performs complex variance analysis and investigates irregularities; make 

  • recommendations to correct inaccuracies.

  • Makes recommendations on process improvements to improve efficiencies

The successful applicant will have the following:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification (or equivalent working experience)

  • Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 2+ years).

Experience:
  • Ideally part qualified (or equivalent experience)

  • In depth understanding of accounting/financial principles, and regulations/legal requirements

  • Ability to function as an effective and respected partner to internal clients

  • Proven analytical thinking and quantitative skills and ability to handle data effectively

  • Confidence to handle sensitive information and make sound recommendations

  • Ability to effectively coordinate multiple tasks while still delivering high quality results

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Strong organizational and project administration skills

  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and presentation of data

  • Keen to learn and develop a career in Tax
