Job Description

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition & People Operations Specialist to help scale our team and strengthen our People foundation. This role will primarily focus on recruiting, while also supporting a range of People Operations and HR administrative tasks to ensure smooth employee lifecycle processes.

Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment across all functions, including technical, operational, and corporate roles.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements, hiring plans, and candidate selection criteria.

  • Source and engage candidates proactively while maintaining strong talent pipelines.

  • Oversee ATS accuracy, job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.

  • Support new hire onboarding, including documentation, system setup, and coordination with cross-functional teams.

  • Maintain employee records, HRIS data, compliance documentation, and provide general HR administrative support.

  • Assist in improving recruiting workflows and People Operations processes as the company scales.

  • Ensure an exceptional candidate experience that reflects WeBox’s values and culture.
Requirements
  • Required 2+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, HR, or related roles
  • Strong sourcing, communication, and interview skills
  • Highly organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, growing startup environment
  • Familiarity with ATS and HR systems 
  • Strong ownership mentality with ability to work independently
Nice to have
  • Experience in People Operations or HR Generalist work
  • Knowledge of CA labor law and basic HR compliance
  • Employer branding, content creation, or event coordination skills
