Job DescriptionThe Role
As a Senior Go Engineer on the RPC Platform team at Quicknode, you will design, build, and scale the critical infrastructure that powers high-performance blockchain RPC services used by developers and enterprises globally. This role operates at the intersection of distributed systems, Web3 infrastructure, and developer experience, requiring deep technical ownership and a strong bias toward execution.
What You’ll Do
Design, build, and optimize high-throughput, low-latency backend services in Go.
Architect distributed systems.
Own end-to-end delivery from design through production.
Improve uptime and reduce latency across services.
Collaborate with Product, Infrastructure, and DevEx teams.
Debug and resolve complex production issues.
Drive engineering standards and best practices.
What You’ll Bring
6–10 years of experience building and operating backend or distributed systems in high-scale production environments, aligning with P4 expectations.
Strong proficiency in Go, with a demonstrated ability to quickly adopt new languages and frameworks as needed.
Deep experience designing and operating distributed systems, databases, and streaming architectures.
Proven track record of delivering scalable, reliable systems with measurable impact on performance, availability, and developer experience.
Experience working with Web3, blockchain infrastructure, or high-throughput API platforms, including familiarity with RPC services, node infrastructure, or data streaming pipelines.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug complex, cross-system issues in production environments.
Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously, prioritize effectively, and deliver outcomes in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
Excellent communication skills with experience collaborating across engineering, product, and customer-facing teams.
