The CBA technology unit delivers the best digital banking services to Commonwealth Bank customers and to do so is responsible for digital delivery, group data and analytics, technology and technology infrastructure, cyber, fraud, physical security and business resilience for all divisions across CBA. It is also dedicated to delivering the best workplace technology experience for our over 53.000 people across CBA and focused on providing the latest tools, technology, and resources to enhance the way we work together and empower our people to achieve more for our customers.

In this role you be joining our new Identity and Access Group, Integration Excellence Squad who are challenged with the design and delivery of how our identity platform integrates with channels across the Group. Building for reuse, they will own UX Patterns, UI Components, SDKs and everything needed to make integration with our modern identity platforms a success.

• Are comfortable to execute state-of-the-art coding practices, driving high-quality outcomes to solve core business objectives and minimise risks

• Are constantly contributing to a culture where quality, excellence and openness are championed

• Are comfortable to educate, communicate, and positively influence various stakeholder groups

• Are constantly thinking outside the box and breaking boundaries to solve complex technical problems

• Have solid working experience in building iOS SDK

• Are comfortable to coach junior engineers, share knowledge to uplift and improve software development practices

Tech Skills:

We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these will set you up for success in this team:

• Developing robust and secure mobile solutions for iOS applications

• Proficient with Xcode as well as keeping up to date with most modern mobile development practices

• Can act as an SME for mobile application development for iOS and be able to understand the current code base

• Advanced experience in best standards and first-class in software engineering and architecture principles in mobile

• Experience in Swift Concurrency and SwiftUI

• Exceptional sense for design with an ability to see an app through from conception, development, testing to release

• Knowledge of RESTful services

• Advance knowledge in source control management such as Git and Gitflow

• Previous experience of working with Agile methodology

• Experience with CI/CD and exposure to testing automation
