You will work with talented, cross-functional teams to design, implement and deliver a variety of projects to help drive our continued growth over various timelines.
What you’ll do:
- Design and implement amazing systems that must run in a highly distributed manner
- Manage software projects by working closely with Product Managers to convert business requirements to a project plan
- Plan cross-team dependencies, create development tasks, design QA tests and monitoring, as well as implement deployment through the completion of the project
- Perform senior level code reviews for peers, promote healthy practice to all
- Maintain existing systems and SDLC as well as Identify, coordinate, and implement improvements to both
- Work in an agile development cycle
What you need:
- Solid knowledge of algorithms and data structures and be able to assess tradeoffs between memory vs. CPU vs. I/O vs. database load etc.
- 3+ years in Java with Linux as the host system
- 1+ years in SDLC/Continuous Integration with a strong stance on unit testing, QA, and monitoring
- 1+ years of software project management
- Some experience with highly available NoSQL data stores such as Scylla, Redis, and Cassandra.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to rapidly learn new technologies
- BS in Computer Science or related fields, or relevant experience
