About the RoleAs a Software Engineer at Dakota, you'll join our core engineering team designing and implementing the robust back-end infrastructure that fuels our blockchain-integrated banking platform. From day one, you'll tackle high-visibility projects that directly impact our financial products and customer experience. 5+ years experience in software engineering
Strong grasp of Golang
Ability to own and drive engineering projects
Extreme proactivity in identifying and fixing issues in the product and code base
Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose complex system issues
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across engineering teams
Located in the US, UK, Spain or Portugal
Experience with crypto/Web3
Familiarity with financial systems or payment processing
Proficient with LLMs and effective prompting techniques for major models, especially Claude
Knowledge of accounting principles or accounting systems
