SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

WHO WE ARE

Intragen specialises in Identity & Access Management, helping organisations control who has access to what. As a leading European IAM partner, we deliver IAM, IGA, PAM and CIAM solutions using technologies such as Okta, One Identity, CyberArk and SailPoint.

JOB SUMMARY
We're looking for a high-energy Senior Project Manager who takes ownership from day one. You'll lead complex IAM projects for our clients from start to finish, handle difficult conversations with confidence, and think commercially about every project you run.

You'll lead your project teams with clear direction and set the pace, bringing technical consultants, clients and internal teams together to deliver. You'll be accountable for the full performance of your projects, including the budget, forecasting, tracking actuals and monthly alignment with Finance on invoicing. You'll keep delivery on track, ask the hard questions early, and act before small issues become big ones.

You'll also help shape how we deliver across the Group, driving consistency, better use of Kantata and AI, and continuous improvement in our project management practice.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Energetic and self-motivated. You take on work without waiting to be asked.
  • Comfortable with conflict. You address issues early and directly.
  • Curious and willing to challenge. You ask questions and test assumptions.
  • Able to get up to speed fast in a changing environment and add value within your first weeks.
  • Hands-on and willing to step in wherever the project needs it.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Project Delivery: Lead projects end to end, from initiation to closure, with detailed plans and clear governance. Deliver on time, within scope and within budget.
  • Client & Conflict Management: Act as the main point of contact for clients. Manage expectations, handle escalations and resolve conflict directly and constructively, protecting both the relationship and the project.
  • Team Leadership: Give your project teams clear direction and keep momentum. Bring technical consultants, subject matter experts and internal teams together, and make sure the right resources are in place at the right time.
  • Financial & Commercial Ownership: Own the project budget end to end: setup, forecasting, actuals and variances. Spot scope changes early, raise change requests and protect margin. Work with Finance every month on accurate invoicing and revenue recognition.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Identify risks and issues early, act on them, and escalate when needed.
  • Stakeholder Communication & Reporting: Keep internal stakeholders informed with clear, regular updates on progress, risks, financials and decisions needed. Run post-project reviews.
  • Quality: Make sure deliverables meet agreed standards and client requirements.
  • Tools & Continuous Improvement: Use Kantata as the single source of truth for plans, time and financials. Use AI tools to work more efficiently. Share lessons learned and help shape consistent delivery standards across the Group.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience delivering complex, multi-stream projects in professional services or technology, ideally IAM or a related security domain.
  • Experience running several projects at the same time without losing control of detail.
  • Strong client-facing experience, including managing escalations and difficult conversations with senior stakeholders.
  • Hands-on financial management: budgets, forecasting, change requests and margin.
  • Solid knowledge of project management methods, and experience working closely with technical teams.
  • Experience with a PSA tool (Kantata desirable) and an interest in using AI to work better.
  • UK-based, and able to travel to London from time to time when the business needs it.

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene

If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
