Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to support our Retail space. This role is more than just managing a product; it’s about shaping a truly customer-centric product. You’ll be at the forefront of innovation, leading and working alongside a talented team to bring our vision to life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy and Vision: Develop and communicate a compelling vision and strategy for your product workstream, ensuring it resonates with our customers and aligns with the company’s mission.
  • Customer Insight and Empathy: Dive deep into understanding our customers' needs, behaviours, and pain points. Use these insights to drive product decisions and create truly user-centric solutions.
  • Collaborative Planning: Foster a collaborative environment where everyone’s ideas are heard and valued.
  • Exceptional User Experience: Advocate for the user at every step of the process, ensuring the platform is intuitive, engaging, and delivers an outstanding experience.
  • Performance and Impact Measurement: Develop and build our vision and objectives and results. Lead in making sure your squad is aligned to driving those outcomes.
  • Transparent Communication: Maintain open and transparent communication with all stakeholders. Regularly update the team and leadership on progress, decisions, and changes to the roadmap.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own the customer retention strategy for our savings platform—identifying key drop-off points, pain points, and moments of opportunity across the customer lifecycle.
  • Design and deliver value-driven, user-centric features that increase engagement, deepen trust, and build long-term customer relationships.
  • Identifying business and customer needs and translating these into a clear product roadmap, balancing quick wins with long-term strategic impact.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Data, Marketing, and Customer Operations to ensure seamless delivery and rollout of high-impact initiatives.
  • Lead risk-aware product development, proactively identifying regulatory, operational, and customer experience risks—and working to mitigate them without compromising innovation.
  • Use qualitative and quantitative insights to validate ideas, measure success, and continuously optimize the product experience.
  • Act as a voice of the customer, ensuring delight is not an afterthought, but embedded in how we build and ship.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, ideally in the financial services or fintech industry.
  • Proven track record of launching and managing successful digital products in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across teams.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Trello, or similar.
  • A passion for innovation and a deep understanding of customer needs and market trends.

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene

If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
