The position

This is an exciting time to join Remote and make a personal difference in the global employment space as a Senior Product Manager, joining our Product team in the Fintech vertical. As a Fintech Product Manager, you will be a key member of our team of product managers in the billing and pricing, each leading their independent teams yet working within an interconnected scope. You'll have a massive impact on our organisation, and will help create opportunities for millions of people around the world.

As a Senior Product Manager at Remote, you'll be developing and guiding our strategy for one of our key product areas. You'll advance this vision by working with a cross-functional engineering and design group to find our most important problems and shape iterative solutions towards them.

Role focus

Lead the transformation of Pricing and Billing with a bias toward action, driving immediate results through:

  • Rapid delivery of solutions: Prioritizing speed without compromising impact, prototyping and iterating with agility.
  • Startup-style disruption: Questioning the status quo, bringing fresh ideas, being calm in chaos and comfortable with ambiguity while executing scalable solutions.
  • Utilizing platform approach: enabling the other teams to implement pricing and billing functions for their products, using the platform, rather than building everything within Pricing and Billing teams

What you bring

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager, delivering complex product solutions with startup speed and agility. You deliver meaningful outcomes every week, not every quarter
  • You excel by seeking professional and personal hypergrowth
  • You have a good understanding business problems, you always link your initiatives to the business’ needs
  • You know that reaching feature-parity is not the key to success
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, for seamless global communication.
  • Hands-on experience with pricing or billing is a strong plus (building pricing and billing capabilities for products, working with vendors)
  • Experience of working in Fintech organizations / departments is a plus
  • Experience in a fast-paced startup or scaling environment is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deeply understand customer and business needs
  • Create and bring to life Strategy and Vision for Pricing & Billing teams
  • Collaborate with and inspire Engineering, Data, UX, and other teams to create compelling technical patterns, design systems, and shared features.
  • Continuously build trust and improve the team and product.
  • Ensure timely delivery of assigned work.
  • Question existing processes and introduce disruptive ideas that challenge the status quo.
  • Expected to use AI tools to 10x productivity, decision-making, and workflow efficiency

At first glance our salary bands seem quite wide - here is some context. At Remote we have international operations and a globally distributed workforce.  We use geo ranges to consider geographic pay differentials as part of our global compensation strategy to remain competitive in various markets while we hiring globally.
[This is a non-exempt position]. The base salary range for this full-time position is $54,900 - $123,550 USD. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location, and our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay for the successful candidate in this role is dependent upon many factors such as location, transferable or job-related skills, work experience, relevant training, business needs, and market demands. The base salary range may be subject to change.

Therefore, all compensation changes associated with an internal move will be reviewed by the Total Rewards & People Enablement team on a case by case basis.
