Mō te tūranga | About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager who can influence and drive the strategy, performance, and ongoing development of our Everyday Banking products here at Westpac NZ.
In this role, you’ll own the end-to-end product lifecycle, defining product strategy, identifying opportunities to improve customer experience, and delivering initiatives that support growth and commercial performance. You’ll work closely with partners across the business including, procurement, legal, finance, risk, and marketing to bring new features to market, enhance our banking experience, and ensure our products remain competitive and compliant.
The role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for delivering outstanding customer propositions that truly make a difference, bringing a deep understanding of how customers interact across products and services and using those insights to expand loyalty and elevate engagement.

Financial services product management experience
Proven leadership capability with the ability to influence, shape and drive strategy
Strong understanding of acquisition and retention, loyalty landscape and eco system development
High level of financial and commercial acumen, including understanding complex commercial constructs and value drivers
Demonstrated ability to partner effectively across a large complex organisation
Experience delivering product initiatives
Ability to use data and insights to drive decision making
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
