Summary
Role OverviewThe Solution Architect (SA) within the Solution Advisory team is a highly strategic role designed to address the increasing complexity of Guidewire’s product portfolio, deal structures, and customer engagements. The SA acts as the primary co-lead from Solution Advisory on qualified deals, partnering closely with the Sales Executive (the “pilot”) as the main “co-pilot” throughout the sales cycle. This role has evolved from the previous “Deal Lead” model to encompass a broader set of responsibilities, requiring both deal leadership and solution architecture expertise.
Primary Purpose
The main goal of the Solution Architect discipline is to enable and support the application of deal strategy best practices, differentiating Guidewire with tailored, compelling, and value-based deliverables for customer engagements. The SA is responsible for ensuring efficiency, clarity, and strategic impact in deal execution, ultimately driving successful deal closure and customer satisfaction.

- Ability to mentor and develop others within the team.
- Demonstrated ability to embrace AI and apply it to your current role as well as data-driven insights to drive innovation, productivity, and continuous improvement.
