Make Your Mark:
We'd like to strengthen our payroll team with an EMEA senior Payroll Specialist, a multitasker, with a broad skill set, that is able to cover various areas of payroll day to day operations, payroll setup, communication with our payroll & insurance providers and payroll and statutory reporting. Someone who thrives in a challenging growth environment. You manage multiple payrolls for our EMEA locations. This includes coordination, communication and review of payrolls and payslips; keeping up to date on changes to local payroll laws and requirements, as well as payroll related reporting and solving all payroll related issues that arise.
You'll Get To:

  • Responsible, together with the Payroll Manager, for the operational activities for our various European payrolls (currently 15).
  • Communication of changes to our payroll outsourcing provider and handling day-to-day operations with analysis and review of payrolls before these are finalized.
  • Assisting with preparation of Payroll journal entries for various European entities for which accounting is performed from our EMEA expertise center in The Netherlands
  • Identifying and engaging on opportunities to professionalize and grow the employee experience
  • Work closely with Internal Audit around SOX requirements and monitor/ensure SOX compliance
  • Keep track of outstanding balance positions and report on these to the Finance Teams
  • Assist with accounting for Leave (accruals)


What You'll Bring:

  • Years of Experience: 4 - 8 years of experience within payroll for multiple countries or multiple companies
  • Knowledgeable of payroll processes and European payroll compliance
  • Experience with payroll vendor software preferred
  • Experience with commissions, bonusses and stock-based compensation preferred
  • Experience with working in a multi-culture environment preferred
  • Multi-lingual candidate preferred, specifically French, but as a minimum fluent in English
  • Detail oriented and effective multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to meet multiple payroll and reporting deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Team player that can interact with Finance, HR and Legal
  • Highly organized and works in an efficient manner
  • Proven ability to meet under deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel required
