Senior Partnership Manager

Reporting to: Head of Partnerships

Location: Remote-first (UK-wide, with occasional travel for partner meetings)

About BR-DGE

BR-DGE is an award-winning FinTech founded in Edinburgh, powered by a high-performing, remote-first team across the UK and beyond. Our platform gives e-commerce and technology businesses the freedom and flexibility to redefine how they handle payments.

Since 2018, we’ve been pioneers in payment orchestration, enabling enterprise brands to optimise their infrastructure and create frictionless digital experiences. From travel giants to household retail names, our global customer base is growing fast, supported by world-class partners like Visa and Worldpay.

The journey so far has been incredible, but we’re just getting started. We are looking for exceptional talent to join us as we continue to grow.

Why this role exists

As BR-DGE continues to scale, our Partnerships function is central to how we expand our ecosystem, unlock new revenue streams, and strengthen our position in the payments market.

We are seeking a Senior Partnership Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of strategic payment partnerships. You will play a pivotal role in turning high-value industry relationships into tangible commercial growth, stronger customer propositions, and long-term business value. Joining at this stage gives you genuine scope to shape our partner operating model, expand key account coverage, and directly influence how BR-DGE scales its market presence.

What you’ll be doing

The Senior Partnership Manager will own and develop a portfolio of BR-DGE’s strategic payment partners, creating and executing joint business plans that deliver measurable commercial value for BR-DGE, our partners, and our customers.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Strategic Partner Management: Owning key partner relationships across acquirers, PSPs, alternative payment methods, card schemes, fraud providers, and tech platforms, building broad executive and operational stakeholder coverage.
  • Commercial Growth: Identifying expansion and upsell opportunities, developing joint commercial propositions, and navigating pricing, referral, or revenue-share structures in collaboration with Finance.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Translating partner opportunities into clear internal action plans alongside Sales, Product, Finance, Delivery, Marketing, and Customer Success to remove blockers and execute seamlessly.
  • Market Insight and Advisory: Staying ahead of payments trends, regulatory shifts, and emerging tech, acting as a trusted commercial and technical adviser both internally and externally.
  • Governance and Performance: Leading regular partner performance reviews (QBRs), maintaining accurate forecasting within HubSpot, and establishing repeatable, scalable operational processes.

What we’re looking for

This role is for a Senior Partnership Manager who wants to turn complex payment relationships into clear commercial outcomes. We are looking for someone who balances commercial drive with strategic rigour and cross-functional leadership.

Essential Experience

  • Significant experience in commercial partnerships, strategic account management, or business development within payments, fintech, or payments technology.
  • Deep understanding of the payments ecosystem (e.g., acquirers, PSPs, alternative payment methods, open banking, card schemes, orchestration, or fraud/authentication).
  • Proven track record of structuring, negotiating, and progressing joint commercial agreements, revenue-share models, and collaborative go-to-market plans.
  • Strong cross-functional alignment skills, with experience coordinating complex initiatives across commercial, product, and technical teams.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems (e.g.HubSpot) and forecasting tools to maintain operational discipline and accurate commercial data.

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience working at a payment orchestration platform, PSP, acquirer, or payment tech provider.
  • An established, active network across the UK and international payments landscape.
  • Experience supporting merchants operating in complex, regulated, or high-volume industries.
  • Experience building or refining partner management frameworks in a scaling business.

What we offer

We provide a supportive and flexible growth environment where your impact is visible every day.

  • Flexibility: Remote-first working culture, with a 3pm finish on Fridays; a workplace that respects your life outside of work.
  • Time Off: 33 (25 + 8) days holiday (including floating public holidays), plus an extra day off for your birthday.
  • Financial: Competitive salary (£68k–£78k), pension scheme, and life insurance.
  • Health: Family private healthcare and Employee Assistance Programme.
  • Growth: A culture that champions career progression and gives you the autonomy to directly contribute to an innovative tech business as it scales.
  • Community: Quarterly in-person team events and monthly socials to keep our remote team connected.

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene

If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
