About the Role

As a Senior Order Management Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end order management process within the Salesforce and finance ERP platforms. Your primary responsibilities will include reviewing and processing orders, ensuring accuracy, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance overall order fulfillment efficiency. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with Salesforce, possess strong analytical skills, and demonstrate a strategic mindset to drive continuous improvement. 

What you will do

  • Review and validate orders entered into Salesforce and finance platform for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company policies.
  • Process and manage orders within platforms ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve order-related issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate order records for finance ERP, including customer account details and customer communications.
  • Collaborate with sales, sales operations, and finance teams to address order inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and ensure a seamless order-to-cash process.
  • Leverage extensive understanding and expertise in Salesforce functionalities to maximize the efficiency of order management processes.
  • Ensure seamless integration between Salesforce and finance ERP, working closely with IT and relevant stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to order management, providing updates to the team on effective improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven improvements based on order management metrics and analysis.

Must Haves 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as Order Management Specialist, preferably in a senior role.
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Salesforce and finance ERP platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Comfort with ambiguity, and an ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
  • Experience implementing and optimizing order management processes.

Nice to Have 

  • Experience with implementation of finance ERP platforms, with an emphasis on order management functions.
