Role Summary:
This role sits within the EMEA Marketing team and is responsible for the planning and execution of marketing activities across the Benelux, Nordics and SADC regions within EMEA, other EMEA regions as required. The role reports to the Head of Marketing for EMEA North, with a dotted line to the Senior Marketing Manager for the EMEA South region.
What You Will Do
- With alignment to the central marketing strategy and in close collaboration with the Sales and Channel leaders for each region, develop and execute quarterly and annual marketing plans to support the sales targets for each region.
- Develop Distribution Marketing Frameworks with the distributors across Benelux and SADC working with the Distribution Account Managers to drive the recruitment and enablement of Sophos’ resellers and MSPs.
- Monitor and support the execution of partner co-marketing activities, campaigns, events and webinars. Setting clear objectives and ensuring the success of these initiatives through meticulous performance measurement and monitoring.
- Work alongside the EMEA Demand Generation team to ensure there is a plan of activity targeted towards end-users in these regions to drive customer acquisition and deliver regional specific activity where appropriate.
- Manage the marketing budgets for these regions, including the Marketing Development Funds (MDF) from partners and distributors, as well as any Sophos initiated activities targeted at end-users or the channel.
- Report on the key marketing metrics for each region and track ROI from all activities, delivering input for marketing and sales quarterly business reviews.
What You Will Bring
- Experience and desire to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, B2B global organisation, ideally within cybersecurity
- Ability to implement and measure a marketing plan
- An aptitude for problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication, and presentation skills
- Project management skills and ability to work cross-functionally, with multiple stakeholders
- Experience of tracking and reporting on marketing activities using Power BI and budget management
- Strong negotiation skills and excellent budget management
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Experience working across multiple regions
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Marketing qualification CIM or equivalent (or working towards)
- Dutch speaker desirable
Special Conditions
- Requirement to work as part of global organisation and ability to flex hours to work across multiple time zones
- Ability to travel to visit partners, distributors and attend events across EMEA – specifically within the Benelux, Nordics and SADC countries
- Attend Marketing team meetings at Sophos’ HQ in Abingdon, Oxfordshire and wider marketing meetings (online or onsite) in regions when appropriate
