We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager Supply Chain Solutions to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, with specific expertise in the Consumer / FMCG market. This role requires a deep understanding of the Consumer industry's value and supply chains, as well as the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
Objective: Develop, design, and sell comprehensive Consumer / FMCG solutions to logistics customers using DP World's capabilities across Europe. This role requires close collaboration with other DP World entities and regions to ensure smooth integration, innovation, and standardization of solutions.
Consultant Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional teams.
- Conduct analysis and provide recommendations for large-scale supply chain projects.
- Work closely with Consumer clients to understand their needs and identify improvement opportunities.
- Design solutions to optimize supply chains.
- Balance business objectives with project requirements.
- Recognize trends and patterns in complex data to solve problems.
- Understand project governance, stakeholder management, commercial models, and team management.
How you will contribute
- Design end-to-end logistics solutions for Consumer / FMCG customers.
- Drive commercial growth by identifying new business opportunities through consultative selling, developing proposals, and collaborating with sales teams to convert leads into contracts.
- Lead cross-functional teams in the design and implementation of supply chain solutions for the Consumer sector.
- Engage with key stakeholders (internal and external) to understand requirements, demonstrate solutions, and provide post-implementation support.
- Oversee quality of analysis and solution team's outputs.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for supply chain improvements and cost savings.
- Communicate effectively with clients, demonstrating a strong understanding of Consumer terminology and industry trends.
- Support management of the prospective client pipeline by evaluating and qualifying solutions leads.
- Oversee project team performance management and ensure high standards of accuracy, quality, and service delivery.
What you will bring
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience (8-12 years) in supply chain management or Logistics, with a focus on the Consumer sector.
- In-depth knowledge of the Consumer / FMCG market and its value and supply chains.
- Experience in one or more of the following segments: Non-perishable foods, Beverages, Personal care.
- Ability to speak the "Consumer language" and build trust with clients. ·
- Proven track record of leadership and team/project management.
- Flexibility to travel - You are ready to occasionally travel Europe.
- Languages - You speak and write fluent English – additional languages are a bonus.
