Position Overview
The Senior Manager, International Talent & Organizational Development is a global position and key member of the Talent Management & Organizational Development Center of Excellence (TM&OD CoE). This role will be responsible for designing and leading our global onboarding program, executing global talent management initiatives internationally, and consulting with the business on key organization development and change management initiatives. A key success factor is the ability to partner with executive and senior leadership, business stakeholders, HR Business Partners and employees across the organization. This role requires a dynamic, forward-thinking expert in talent & organizational development, who is excellent at providing strategic thought leadership, while also driving timely delivery of our initiatives. The role will report to the Director, Talent Management & Diversity and matrix report to the Senior Director, Organizational Development & Change Management.
Responsibilities
The Senior Manager, International Talent & Organizational Development will be accountable for the following:
- Global Onboarding
- Lead the redesign of our global onboarding program, covering Day 1 – 90 for all new hires
- Accountable for ongoing oversight and management of the global onboarding program and employee onboarding experience
- Talent Management
- Serve as strategic partner with International HRBPs to implement Talking Talent sessions and drive the strategic talent agenda, to include talent reviews, succession planning, and strategic workforce planning
- Execute Talent Management initiatives for International ensuring consistency in global practices
- Educate International leaders and teams to embed talent management practices as we expand internationally
- Organizational Development
- Lead team effectiveness initiatives, including design and facilitation of team offsites
- Consult with HRBPs and business leaders on key change management, organization design, and operating model initiatives
- Support development and execution of global TM&OD initiatives as needed
Education and Experience
Minimum Requirements:
- Completed Bachelor’s degree
- Demonstrated work experience in the field of Human Resources, Talent Management, and Organizational Development
- Ability to travel as needed and support global time zones; estimated at 10% yearly travel
Preferred Skills and Competencies:
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills
- Expertise and knowledge of onboarding, talent management, organizational development, change management, and team effectiveness topics
- Strong consulting skills and expert facilitator
- Ability to solve practical problems and manage through challenges and obstacles in support of embedding robust talent and performance practices within Insulet
- Upbeat self-starter with a high level of flexibility
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, executive presence
- Ability to communicate complex information with clarity to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong planning and project management, detail oriented and excellent organizational skills
