Senior Manager, Indirect Tax

Full time, permanent

Hybrid (at least once a week in office) in Weybridge

About the Role

We’re seeking a Senior Manager, Indirect Tax to lead our European indirect tax operations. As a vital senior member of the Europe tax team, you will oversee and implement the region’s indirect tax strategies. You will manage our Europe indirect tax compliance obligations and payments, balancing in-house expertise with outsourced resources and maintaining relationships with tax advisors. You will lead and develop a talented team dedicated to ensuring compliance with local tax regulations while optimizing our tax position.

Your key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement indirect tax strategies that align with business goals while ensuring compliance with European tax regulations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of all indirect tax filings and execution of tax payments
  • Lead, mentor and inspire a team of tax professionals, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Manage relationships with tax authorities and ensure compliance with evolving regulations
  • Work closely with internal functional and business teams, as well as external advisors, to ensure seamless integration of tax strategies into broader business initiatives
  • Identify and implement opportunities for automation and process enhancements to streamline compliance obligations and improve service delivery.

Do you offer...?  

  • 7+ years demonstrated experience in an indirect tax role, managing internal indirect tax affairs of multiple European jurisdictions
  • Strong technical experience
  • Demonstrable people management and development experience over last 5 years
  • Fully qualified accountant or recognised Tax qualification
