What You'll Bring:

We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis to join our growing team. 

Day to Day You’ll Be:

  • Design and lead the financial planning, budgeting and forecasting process for the UK & Europe Business. Expected to co-ordinate with Revenue Senior Manager, Expense Senior Manager and Director of FP&A to ensure the strategic and financial plans are aligned between UK & Europe Region with wider Group

  • Lead the month-end deliverables process for FP&A  as part of the corporate/ segment accounting close ensuring timely delivery, accuracy, consistency and alignment between UK & European Region and International FP&A on any material variances to forecast / plan

  • Create a centre of excellence for reporting, adopting a right first-time approach. Responsible for the development and provision of reporting, insightful analysis and KPI’s, with the ability to view financials through multiple lenses to drive data-driven decision making and improve business performance. Reporting of financial and business performance for the UK & Europe Executive team, International FP&A, Board and other key stakeholders  ensuring they have self-serve access to final versions

  • Key point of contact for the International FP&A team and Enablement functions on consolidation queries, ensuring the UK & Europe FP&A team provide all required information in a timely manner  

  • Proactively lead the engagement and communication for all Reporting & Planning timelines across UK & Europe, ensuring key stakeholders are informed on a timely basis of delivery timelines and that these are adhered to, enabling sufficient time for review

  • Ensure the UK Finance team are adopting best practice and are utilizing the latest systems and tools (as prescribed by head office) relating to all planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes 

  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve and simplify existing processes across FP&A and instill a continuous improvement mindset within the team – ensure the focus is on telling the story on the financials and being able to clearly articulate the “so what”

  • Work with the Investment Manager on the integration of any approved M&A activity or strategic change programs and embed into BAU FP&A activity

  • As a leader within the Finance function, work collaboratively with the Finance leadership team, Finance Operations and other Finance teams on any key financial decisions and proactively propose and implement initiatives to drive forward the mission of the Finance function to make finance a great place to work 

  • Manage a team of senior Finance professionals by providing leadership, direction, support, coaching and mentoring , ensuring the team have individual and team development plans that are reviewed frequently

  • Play a proactive role in embedding a “one team, multiple location” culture, fostering a culture of high performance, resilience, continuous improvement and guiding them through change

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the capability to influence and guide Executive level stakeholders

  • Expertise in analysing highly complex problems; takes ownership through to resolution

  • Ability to autonomously design and implement strategic solutions

  • Highly capable leader with the ability to motivate senior finance professionals

  • Accomplished at prioritizing tasks and workloads to meet the needs of stakeholders inside and outside of Finance

  • Excellent communication skills 

  • Ability to do the detail but also summarise and articulate clearly to senior leaders

  • Keeps up to date with external trends to understand the impact they may have on the business

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Qualified Accountant

  • Previous FP&A experience, supporting senior stakeholders

  • Evidence of successful team leadership in different environments
