  • Facilitate testing, training, and exercising programs to validate the effectiveness of resilience plans and enhance organizational preparedness.
  • Maintain oversight of risk/resilience metrics and annual review schedules to ensure continuous program improvement.
  • Foster innovation by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, tools, and technologies that support risk and resilience management.

What Will Help You Succeed:

  • Experience in enterprise risk management, business continuity, or resilience management, ideally within a large or multinational organisation. This could include formal roles, project leadership, or significant contributions in these areas.
  • A strong understanding of risk frameworks, resilience principles, and relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO 31000, ISO 22301).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to influence and engage colleagues at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Professional certifications such as IRM, BCI, CBCI, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene

If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
