  • 12+ years of progressive experience in labor relations, employee relations, employment law, HR business partnering or a related human resources discipline, including responsibility for complex, high-risk and multi-entity matters.
  • Demonstrated expertise in UK employment and labor law, restructuring obligations, TUPE, collective consultation and employee representation requirements, with experience translating legal requirements into practical business decisions.

It Would Be a Plus If You Also Possess

  • Demonstrated employment law or senior Labor & Employee Relations experience in Ireland.
  • Experience supporting labor and employee relations in manufacturing, diagnostics, life sciences or another highly regulated environment.

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene

If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
