Your role:You ...
- work remotely anywhere from Europe and travel to the office in Germany every few months to meet everyone at our company events or hackathons.
- work on existing applications as well as on the introduction of new functionalities in our backend.
- design and implement features in a team and follow agile principles and values.
- ensure code quality through code review, pair programming and testing.
- have the commitment to help shape and develop our development process in the team through feedback and retrospectives.
- coach less experienced colleagues.
Qualifications
- at least 5 years of experience as a software engineer working on backend systems
- experience in full cycle development. CI/CD, Database design, system and application architecture
- relevant experience with Kotlin/Java and Webframeworks (such as Spring, Micronaut, Vert.x, Quarkus, JEE, Ktor) - We use Kotlin and Micronaut
- you write well testable and tested code
- interest in developing your own skills and those of your team
- strong ownership for your topics, you want to get things done
- strong communicator, both written and spoken
