This role focuses on both expanding our footprint with existing clients and acquiring new clients. The ideal candidate will employ a proactive sales approach, utilizing strategic methods to effectively manage the sales cycle and meet or exceed sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Utilize a proactive strategic sales approach encompassing all phase of the sales cycle
- Meet or exceed all assigned quotas for sales, related applications, and components
- Develop pipeline and ensure proper territory management • Collaborate with Pre-Sales Consultant to ensure technical accuracy of detailed sales proposals • Work in partnership with outside/regional sellers to develop sales strategies for shared accounts
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of all Merge solutions and understanding of the competitive landscape
- Daily documentation of client and prospect activities within assigned territory in Salesforce.com
- Excellent communication, organization, critical thinking and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Core Competencies
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales/inside sales
- Proven experience in inside sales, preferably within the medical imaging or healthcare technology sectors.
- Strong understanding of sales processes and territory management.
- Proficiency in Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
Preferred Skills
- Healthcare IT experience specifically within Radiology and/or Cardiology Imaging
- Previous use and experience with Salesforce.com
- Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales quota
Education & Work Environment
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant business experience
- Travel may be required 3-4 times per year for Team meetings and Annual Sales Meetings. Additional travel made be asked for client meetings but is not necessarily required.
- A valid driver’s license and safe driving record is required
