About the Role:
- Leverage data through Tableau/SQL to understand and identify areas of growth for in-depth paid marketing channel performance across different regions and countries
- Extract and analyze data to interpret the impact of tests on marketing performance (e.g. number of leads, cost per acquisition, pipeline growth, ROI)
- Collaborate with regional marketers to analyze campaign performance and global pipeline growth
- Create reports/dashboards/data models using BI tools like Tableau by compiling data from different platforms (Salesforce, Marketo, Google Analytics, Demandbase, Adobe Analytics)
- Document key findings for growth opportunities. Conduct ad-hoc analyses on key areas of the business

- Masters advanced SQL and visualization techniques. Can work with complex, unstructured data. May use scripting (Python/R) for analysis. Develops simple data models.
- Reporting & Data Storytelling
- Proactively develops new reporting to answer key business questions. Masters data storytelling, creating compelling narratives that drive action.
- Business Acumen & Marketing Strategy
- Possesses a deep understanding of multiple marketing channels and their strategic interplay. Analysis directly influences campaign tactics and budget allocation.
- Analytical Rigor & Insights Generation
- Designs and executes complex deep-dive analyses (e.g., segmentation, attribution, experimental design). Proactively uncovers significant opportunities or risks.
- Core Professional Competencies
- Certifiable with SQL, Tableau, Excel, able to identify and build projects, as well as complete them, with full development cycle knowledge. Can use Python or other script languages to supplement SQL as needed. Understands the full developer stack. Can work and interact with BI to solve problems and provide guidance. Can build data sources as needed. Reports the news, but can also "Make the News".
Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Confidently presents complex analysis and recommendations to senior stakeholders. Builds strong relationships and influences decisions within their domain.
Leadership & Influence
- Formally or informally mentors junior analysts. Leads analytical projects and working groups. Drives the adoption of best practices within the team.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of analytics experience at fast-growing B2B technology companies with a Go-To-Market Focus.
- Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets, SQL, and data visualization tools like Tableau with work focused on using these tools to deliver insights.
- Experience in scientific computing using Data Analytics packages, Python, R, or Scala
- Experience working with and processing structured, unstructured, and semi-structured data.
- Analytically inclined, exceptional organizational skills, with rigorous attention to detail
- Passion for problem solving, delivering actionable insights, and knowledge sharing.
