You’ll lead and align the HR strategy across the group, empowering the existing HR team to drive compliance, talent development, and a high-performance culture that supports rapid growth and organisational excellence.
What you’ll do:
- Own HR compliance across all jurisdictions (Spain, Denmark, Cyprus, and remote teams).
- Establish and maintain frameworks for contracts, onboarding, offboarding, and disciplinary processes.
- Ensure employee data privacy and GDPR compliance.
- Oversee labour relations and manage HR compliance audits.
- Implement and standardise internal policies (e.g., remote work, expenses, parental leave).
- Partner with the Performance Officer and CEO to embed an A-player talent philosophy.
- Roll out performance scorecards, KPIs, and job-level expectations across teams.
- Lead processes to differentiate A-players, Above Bar, and under-performers.
- Facilitate performance calibration sessions, manage underperformance exits, and fast-track top talent promotions.
- Oversee performance cycle tools (quarterly reviews, 360s, self-assessments) ensuring alignment with compensation.
- Deliver manager training on performance management, high standards, and talent development.
- Optimise HR systems to support growth beyond 100 employees across brands and geographies.
- Design scalable onboarding and internal mobility frameworks aligned with a high-performance culture.
- Implement pulse checks, feedback loops, and retention tracking to safeguard talent density.
- Develop succession planning and career progression frameworks linked to performance outcomes.
- Collaborate with Finance and Performance Office to manage the Total Rewards Framework (fixed & variable pay).
- Ensure transparent, performance-driven reward cycles focused on A-player recognition.
- Conduct compensation benchmarking and maintain a structured, tiered salary framework.
What you’ll bring:
- 5+ years of experience, including experience in multi-country environments and hyper-growth or tech scale-ups.
- Deep expertise in employment law, risk management, and labour compliance (particularly Spain).
- Proven ability to operationalise performance systems and deliver results across compensation, hiring, and retention.
- Obsessed with talent density, cultural clarity, and creating environments where top performers thrive.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills, able to work directly with executive teams and managers.
Bonus Skills:
- Experience at companies with strong performance cultures (e.g., Revolut, Klarna, B2C SaaS).
- Background in consulting, legal, or people analytics.
- Proficiency with tools like Revolut People & Clickup.
