Overview: As a Senior Software Engineer at Litera, you will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about driving innovation in the legal technology space. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge tools and collaborate with industry experts to deliver solutions that make a real difference in the legal profession.
Key Responsibilities:
Write clean, maintainable code that is extensible with a minimum number of defects
Provide guidance on modern software engineering techniques and methodologies for code reviews
Take ownership of product features from estimates to design and development
Refactor and improve existing software
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (PO, QA) to complete tasks
Manage individual task priorities, estimates, deadlines, and deliverables
Shape innovative designs and feature enhancement ideas into the product and design process
Own key areas of the product in terms of design and development
Must have:
5+ years of professional software development experience
Good understanding of JS/TS language
Good experience in developing applications using React v16.8+
Good knowledge of HTML, CSS
Experience with popular module bundlers (e.g. Webpack, Vite)
Experience with writing tests for React applications using Jest + React Testing Library / Enzyme
Nice to have:
Experience with popular React state management libraries (e.g. redux, zustand)
Experience with CSS preprocessors (e.g. SASS, SCSS)
Experience with popular UI kit libraries (e.g. MUI)
Understanding of OOD, SOLID, KISS, DRY principles
Understanding of CI / CD process (we use GitHub and Azure DevOps)
