About you: We are seeking a talented and experienced front end engineer to join our dynamic and fast-paced team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining features in our world-class accounts payable solution. You will collaborate with other Frontend developers, Backend Developers, QA and Product Owners at all levels, to build high-quality solutions that drive technical excellence within the Access Group at Lightyear.
Day-to-day, you will:
· Design, implement and maintain highly performant and scalable frontend solutions
· Work to build solutions in-line with the priorities set by the product owner
· Write robust code in-line with industry standards and best practices
· Collaborate with team members, sometimes seeking advice and sometimes sharing knowledge to advance the capabilities of the team
· Work closely with designers to implement UI/UX designs
· Collaborating with back-end developers to integrate APIs and services
As a Front End Engineer, your Skills and Experiences include:
· At least 5+ years of hands-on experience with Angular framework.
· Strong proficiency in TypeScript, with solid knowledge of HTML5 and CSS.
· Practical experience using Angular Material to build responsive and user-friendly components.
· Familiarity with reactive programming concepts and RxJS is highly desirable.
· Comfortable with version control systems, especially Git.
· Strong analytical skills with the ability to tackle complex problems and devise effective, scalable solutions.
Ideally Experience in:
· Experience with Ionic for mobile app development.
· Working in Agile environments and using Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO).
· Leveraging AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate development, enhance code quality, and minimize defects.
