Your role
Fastned aims to accelerate the transition towards sustainable mobility by giving freedom to electric drivers. As Senior Frontend Developer you are responsible for developing experiences that are simple, drive engagement, and deliver WOW to our users on every journey touchpoint. By delivering best-in-class frontend solutions for Fastned digital products, you get the unique opportunity to improve the EV driving experience and contribute to the transition to sustainable mobility.
In this role, you will contribute to a range of Fastned products, primarily working on our proprietary back office platform Revolt. You will take the role of a key sparring partner for the front-end development team. As a true problem-solver, you will be accountable for the delivery of a well-functioning product, while teaming up with Product Design to raise the bar on usability. This role is part of the Software team and works as a member of the scrum team with fellow Frontend Developers, Backend Engineers, a Scrum Master, Product Manager, and Product Designer.
Your overall responsibilities include
Contribute with your team to product development from ideation to deployment
Development, testing, and doing code reviews for Fastned frontend applications
Refine with your team feature requirements to deliver a product that materially impacts the business and improves the customer experience
Must excel in a team environment, contributing to and thriving on collective success.
Raise the bar on product usability, contributing to design system creation while developing experiences that deliver WOW on every journey touchpoint
Participate in scrum ceremonies and contribute to tech decision-making
Coach and assist the team in improving development methodologies and applying best practice patterns

3+ years of experience with React, including advanced knowledge of Next.js
Experience of React Native to be able to support our other teams
Extensive experience with REST API integration and state management using React Query
Proficient in CSS, including TailwindCSS and styled-jsx
Experienced in working with component libraries
Deep understanding of Atomic Design principles for scalable UI architecture
Skilled in unit and end-to-end testing
Familiarity in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for frontend projects
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and guide team members toward achieving project goals
Passionate about contributing to the energy transition and aligning with Fastned’s mission
