We are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer for one of our most well-established products - Cupid Media.
Your main tasks will be:
- Front-End Development:
- Lead the development of robust and user-friendly web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Implement responsive design principles to ensure optimal performance across various devices and screen sizes.
- Architectural Design:
- Participate in the architectural design and planning of web applications.
- Collaborate with back-end developers and other stakeholders to integrate front-end components seamlessly
- Be able to suggest improvements to existing front end architecture designs.
- Frameworks and Libraries:
- Utilise front-end frameworks and libraries to build scalable and maintainable applications.
- Understanding of modern architectural patterns used to build modern web applications.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in front-end development.
- Code Reviews and Quality Assurance:
- Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and best practices.
- Implement and advocate for testing strategies to maintain the reliability of the codebase.
- Performance Optimisation:
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to ensure optimal page load times and responsiveness.
- Implement techniques to enhance the overall speed and efficiency of web applications.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
- Work closely with back-end developers to integrate front-end components with server-side logic.
- Leadership and Mentorship:
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior front-end developers.
- Share knowledge and best practices to foster a collaborative and learning-oriented team environment.
- Demonstration of thought leadership, by always looking to improve the current implementation.
- Work with the CTO and other senior leadership to ensure that ideas are discussed and validated.
- Problem Solving:
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring timely resolution of technical challenges.
- Propose innovative solutions to improve the user experience and application functionality.
We expect from you:
- Excellent skills with JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS & HTML5
- Experience with React framework.
- Experience with the tailwindcss framework.
- Experience with security aspects of UI development, including OWASP, CORS policy, etc.
- Experience with Git & GitHub version control tools and processes.
- Experience developing mobile/web applications.
- Experience using debugging tools relevant to the product. The experience and ability to track down problems in products using these tools.
- Experience with bug management software (e.g. JIRA).
