Senior Finance Business Partner – EMEA Distributor Markets (EMEA-D)
Battersea / Hybrid - 3 days per week from our Head Office in the Battersea Power Station Development

We are seeking a strategic and collaborative Senior Finance Business Partner to support the financial planning and analysis for our EMEA Distributor Markets (EMEA-D). This role offers the opportunity to partner closely with the commercial organization, driving ownership and accountability while ensuring financial rigor and strategic alignment across SharkNinja’s distribution markets in EMEA.

Position Overview:

As the Senior Finance Business Partner for EMEA-D, you will be the primary finance partner for the region’s distributor markets, responsible for managing the financials end-to-end. This includes oversight of commercial actions, profitability, expenses, and investments. Reporting to the Senior Director of Finance, you will work closely with the EMEA Distribution Commercial organization, taking direction from the global playbook while tailoring strategies to meet regional objectives.

Here are some of the EXCITING things you'll do: 

Strategic Financial Leadership:

  • Serve as the primary financial partner for the EMEA-D Commercial organization, providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Own and manage the financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes for distributor markets, ensuring alignment with regional and global objectives.
  • Drive the financial agenda for the EMEA-D business, ensuring that all initiatives support growth and profitability objectives.

Commercial Actions & Profitability Management:

  • Partner with the commercial organization to develop and execute initiatives that drive sales growth and margin optimization.
  • Maintain a comprehensive view of profitability across distributor markets, including expenses, investments, and operational efficiencies.
  • Analyze and report on key financial metrics such as sales, gross margin, operational margin, and return on investment for strategic initiatives.
  • Provide actionable insights to improve performance, mitigate risks, and capitalize on opportunities across the P&L.

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

  • Develop and present financial reports and dashboards to track performance against objectives, highlighting risks, opportunities, and actionable insights.
  • Perform in-depth analysis of business performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Lead scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to guide strategic initiatives and financial decision-making.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with the geo-expansion team to assess new markets, evaluating financial implications and strategic opportunities.
  • Work closely with operations, marketing, and product management teams to support inventory management, promotional activities, and pricing strategies.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the EMEA-D leadership team, ensuring alignment on financial objectives and strategic priorities.

Process Improvement & Best Practices:

  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance the efficiency and scalability of financial operations.
  • Establish and maintain best practices for financial planning, reporting, and analysis within the EMEA-D business.
  • Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with both regional and global objectives.

Ad Hoc Projects & Strategic Support:

  • Lead financial analysis for ad hoc projects, including new market entry, distributor contract negotiations, and investment evaluations.
  • Provide decision support for strategic initiatives, ensuring financial implications are fully considered.

Some of the skills & experience you'll ideally bring: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree highly preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and business partnering roles, with proven ability to balance strategic and operational priorities.
  • Significant experience in distributor markets or multi-region financial management, preferably within consumer goods or retail industries.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario planning.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience managing P&L performance and delivering actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in financial planning tools such as Power BI, Adaptive Insights, or Domo.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial data for diverse audiences.
