As Senior Events and Sponsorships Manager, you'll own the strategy, planning and delivery of CDW's events and sponsorships programme. Your focus is on creating high-impact experiences that support commercial goals, deepen customer and partner relationships, and strengthen CDW's brand in the market.
This is a strategic role, not just execution you'll be a trusted advisor to sales, partner management and senior leadership, ensuring events and sponsorships deliver measurable business value.
What You Will Do- Define and lead CDW's events and sponsorships strategy, aligned to business and commercial priorities
- Own a portfolio of CDW-hosted events and third-party sponsorships (e.g. conferences, trade shows, partner and external sponsorships)
- Work closely with sales, partner management, solutions and leadership to agree objectives, audiences and success measures
- Lead end-to-end delivery of events from planning and stakeholder alignment through to execution and follow-up
- Identify, evaluate and manage sponsorship opportunities, ensuring they are on-brand and deliver measurable impact
- Ensure sponsorship activations are engaging, differentiated and commercially effective
- Measure and report on ROI, engagement and performance, using insights to continuously improve future activity
- Manage budgets, timelines, agencies and external suppliers to deliver high-quality outcomes
- Act as the key point of contact for senior leadership on major events and sponsorships
- Lead, guide and develop junior team members and agency partners where applicable
- Significant experience (typically 7+ years) in events, sponsorships or B2B marketing, ideally within technology or IT services
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale, high-profile events or sponsorship programmes
- Strong commercial mindset able to connect events and sponsorships to business outcomes
- Confident working with senior stakeholders and influencing across functions
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience managing budgets, agencies and external suppliers
- Creative thinker with a strong understanding of brand, storytelling and customer experience
- Comfortable using data and insight to evaluate success and optimise future programmes
- Willingness to travel (up to ~25%) as required
- Events and sponsorships are clearly aligned to CDW's commercial strategy
