We are looking for an experienced and innovative Senior DevOps Engineer with expertise in AWS, Terraform, and solution architecture to join our client’s team.
The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of commercial experience in infrastructure solutions design, implementation and support. The ideal candidate will have at least one production project experience and a strong ability to design and implement infrastructure solutions. This role requires someone who can consult on DevOps processes, design scalable architectures, and drive best practices in cloud environments.
Project involvement plans:
Initial 5 months with possibility of extension. Start in July, 2025.
About the project:
This project involves managing financial assets owned by the company. It utilizes machine-learning models that operate on data ingested from third-party APIs. The process includes ELT (extract, load, transform), data modeling in Snowflake using DBT, training ML models using AWS SageMaker, running predictions, and storing predictions back in Snowflake.

Responsibilities:
- Work in an Agile, collaborative environment to build, deploy, configure, and maintain systems;
- Participate in designing the service to be cloud-native;
- Automate build/deployment of service, ship code to production (CI/CD);
- Monitor and measure systems for performance, load & capacity planning;
- Deploy infrastructure-as-сode;
- Managing operations, triaging, and fixing operational issues;
Requirements:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience with AWS or other cloud environments;
- AWS EKS (deployment-centric), Route53, VPC (TGW), opensearch, prometheus/grafana (or comparable non-AWS solutions);
- Jenkins, Gitlab CI or comparable;
- Docker / Kubernetes
- Git
- Experience designing and deploying cloud services using Infrastructure as code tools
- Hands-on experience with building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with scripting languages to write automation tools
- Experience with application monitoring tools
- Confident level of English for daily communication
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with Astronomer (managed Airflow service) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Python
- Experience with security, compliance, and governance in cloud environments.
- Understanding of AI/ML workloads and optimization strategies.
- Ability to work independently and lead DevOps initiatives within a team.
