Datadog is one of the fastest-growing SaaS companies in history, and we’re seeking a Senior Corporate Marketing Manager, Public Relations to drive our communications strategy in the EMEA region. As part of the Corporate Marketing team, you’ll play a pivotal role in expanding our media presence across Europe, building relationships with journalists, managing PR agency resources, and crafting narratives that resonate with our diverse audiences in this dynamic market.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and execute PR strategies to enhance Datadog’s visibility and reputation across EMEA markets.
  • Cultivate a core set of relationships with key media, influencers, and industry analysts across prioritized geographies in the region.
  • Position Datadog executives and subject matter experts as thought leaders in the industry through bylined articles, speaking engagements, and media interviews.
  • Collaborate with regional and global teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Manage PR agency resources and oversee media campaigns, ensuring they are impactful, on-brand, and aligned with Datadog’s goals.
  • Monitor industry trends, media coverage, and competitive landscape to inform PR strategies and proactively shape narratives.
  • Manage regional press materials, including press releases, media pitches, and statements. Ensure all content is engaging, accurate, and aligns with Datadog’s brand voice.
  • Support crisis communication efforts and ensure timely, effective response to sensitive issues when necessary.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including marketing, product, and executive leadership, to align on communication priorities and narratives.
  • Monitor public relations and social media trends, competitor activity, and industry news to identify opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Develop regular reports quantifying public relations’ impact on the business in the region as a whole and for each prioritized geography. 
  • Provide guidance and media training to company spokespeople as needed.

Who You Are:

  • A PR professional with 6+ years of experience, preferably in enterprise technology or SaaS.
  • Proven experience in managing public relations efforts across EMEA markets, with strong regional media relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages and stories.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with global teams.
  • Experience managing PR agencies and executing media campaigns.
  • Skilled in handling crisis communications and managing high-pressure situations with tact and professionalism.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to media relations and brand positioning.
