SENIOR ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER
Job Purpose
To design, test, commission, electrical control systems for Baker Perkins machinery, meeting contractual/customer requirements within time and budget restraints.
Main Duties
- Design our control panels, using our standard or designing from scratch
- Specify and issue electrical hardware parts lists according to contract specifications, specify technical requirements for bought out equipment
- Develop and produce PLC and HMI software (Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi…)
- Produce machine functional specifications and test specifications
- Test equipment in our factory / test centre
- Help the Commissioning Engineers, traveling to customer sites
- Propose permanent technical assistance in pre-sale and post-sale
- Help research and develop new products
Candidate Profile
- Background and/or experience in Industrial Electrical Engineering, at an equipment builder, if possible
- Professional experience (or apprenticeship) in control panel design
- Experience of programming PLC systems and HMI software
- Ability and pleasure to travel around the world for some weeks per year
- Know how to take initiative
- Solution-driven and customer-oriented sensibility
- Team spirit and sense of commitment
