Senior Systems Business Analyst - Salesforce
Rapid7 is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst - Salesforce to play a pivotal role in extending and enhancing our Salesforce ecosystem across Sales, Customer Success, and Support teams. This person will partner closely with stakeholders to design solutions that drive efficiency, enable scale, and create measurable business impact. Strong organisational skills, business acumen, and the ability to manage initiatives in both Agile and Waterfall delivery models are essential for success in this role.

Our Business Systems team enables the success of Sales, Customer Success, and Support by delivering tools and processes that improve productivity and customer experience. We act as trusted partners to the business, ensuring Salesforce and related technologies are strategically aligned to company goals.
About the Role
As a Senior Systems Business Analyst - Salesforce, your primary responsibility will be to connect business objectives with scalable Salesforce solutions that drive measurable impact. Specifically, your focus will be to:
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Support leadership to translate business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Customer Success processes.
  • Lead end-to-end project delivery, including requirements gathering, documentation, testing, and change management.
  • Collaborate with developers, admins, and vendor partners to extend Salesforce capabilities and integrate new technology tools into the platform.
  • Manage and prioritise a pipeline of projects and enhancements in a fast-paced environment.
  • Create and maintain high-quality documentation (BRD, business requirements, process flows, functional specifications, etc.).
  • Perform system testing and coordinate user acceptance testing to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
  • Partner with IT and business stakeholders to ensure governance, scalability, and compliance in system design.
  • Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment on goals, timelines, and outcomes.

  • Proficiency in translating business needs into technical requirements for developers/admins.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall delivery models, including backlog management.
  • Experience with testing cycles (system integration testing, UAT, regression).
  • Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce and integrated systems.
  • Strong vendor and stakeholder management skills to ensure effective collaboration.
