Team Overview:
This team provides direct support to the Markets Operations Leadership team as a strategic advisor and communications expert.

What you’ll do:

  • Leading the creation and execution of communication and employee engagement strategy across the Organisation, including presenting on strategy Operations leadership regularly

  • Implementing a successful People and Engagement strategy, including analysis and response to employee engagement surveys, to help attract, develop, retain and recognize our people

  • Preparation of materials for senior stakeholder engagement and governance forums

  • Analysis of progress against selected strategic objectives - communicating key risks, defining mitigation strategies and helping to oversee to resolution

  • Identify trends, synergies and weaknesses across regions, identifying opportunities for global alignment

  • Developing, analysing and maintaining metrics for measuring success, opportunities for improvement, management reporting and escalation

What we’ll need from you:

  • Expertise in crafting internal and external communications strategy, in a global, fast-paced organisation

  • Innovative mindset, with ability to think creatively on how to engage staff in an effective and efficient manner, leveraging emerging technologies where available

  • Ability to establish and build trust with professionals at all levels

  • Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive; a leader who can positively and productively add impact

  • Self-reliant, good problem solver, results oriented with attention to detail

  • Strong, influential communicator who is articulate and concise.

  • Strong risk management and control mindset

  • Provides evaluative judgment based on analysis of information in complicated, unique and dynamic situations, drawing on diverse range of internal and external sources

  • Experience in a global financial services firm, ideally in an operations organisation preferred

Markets Operations Belfast Overview:

  • Our Operations and COO groups are core to the success of the Markets business.  We support a wide range of internal stakeholders including Front Office Sales and Trading Desks, Compliance, Legal, Finance and HR; alongside having significant interaction with external clients, playing a key role in the overall client experience.
