Your Team and Role

As a Senior Business Development Manager on the Partnerships team, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our consumer protections and AI-driven services by negotiating and scaling high-impact partnerships. You’ll lead strategic initiatives that drive product innovation and expand revenue potential — working across a dynamic ecosystem of technology providers, platforms, emerging AI partners and work on related projects. Recent projects include:

  • Negotiating AI model licensing agreements with providers to enhance privacy-focused search capabilities

Your work will directly influence how our products evolve and reach millions of users. By staying abreast of AI trends while forging relationships with leading organizations, you’ll help contribute to our strategic roadmap and support our ability to identify, scope, and pursue business development opportunities.

About You
  • 10+ years of Business Development, Partnerships, or Strategic Partnerships experience.

  • 2+ years leading cross-functional partnership projects and teams, including legal and engineering.

  • Proven success in similar roles, identifying, negotiating, structuring and closing large deals, including drafting term sheets and contract language.

  • Strong ability to grasp technical concepts, evaluate and create clear rationale for proposed partnerships.

  • Proven experience building internal consensus, and executing complex deals with little oversight.

  • Experience managing contract renewals, handling inbound partnership requests and nurturing relationships with existing partners.

  • Experience identifying and reaching decision-makers, crafting proposals and generating successful outcomes while taking full ownership of deals and seeing them through completion.

  • Experience successfully negotiating partnerships in the web or software-based business.

  • Ability to manage multiple partnerships simultaneously.

  • Located in US or Canada.

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene

If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
