About the Role
Responsibilities
- Define and document new business and future state workflows using Visio.
- Gather, analyze, and validate detailed requirements for system implementation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify and refine business needs; proactively ask questions.
- Review QE team’s test scenarios; provide feedback (no test execution).
- Manage project documentation and tracking using JIRA and Confluence.
- Support operations team including segregation process - clearing, and settlements.
Show Us What You’ve Got
- It will be very useful if you have some or all of the following skills and experience:
- 5+ years Business Analysis experience
- Ability to create Business Cases
- Experience with creation of EPICs, and writing of User Stories to align with the project plan and scope
- Independently leading sessions to gather information and requirements from key stakeholders
- Knowledge of process re-engineering will be an advantage
- Effective communicator - liaising between stakeholders and users
- Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, as well as others across the team/department
- Track record of developing and bringing innovative solutions to problems
- Ability to work across other related roles, for example Product Owner, as required
Mandatory Experience
- Senior BA Skillsets with Capital Markets domain knowledge.
- Knowledge in Securities Lending , with a focus on Fixed Income and equities repo/lending.
- Experience in customer protection, segregation processes or clearing and settlement processes, especially related to Equities Repo
- Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence and Visio
- Agile methodology experience
- Financial Industry experience
