The Team: Brand Research, Strategy and UX

Our team acts as a strategic hub, collaborating closely with experts across Customer Experience (CX), Digital Experience (DX), and Employee Experience (EX) — and our Go-to-Market (GTM) teams.
Our goal is to lead with brand fueled by the ‘why’ — transforming data into the truths about people that drive presence, ignite affinity, and anchor trust.
The Role
The role is crucial to build and perform the research that ensures our brand resonates with our target audience (prospects, customers, and partners) and is positioned strategically in the market.
The role's responsibility includes conceptualizing brand research to gain insights, building brand performance analytics to measure the impact of brand activation, and developing brand intelligence to inform creative and support GTM execution. You’ll ensure outcomes enhance the impact of brand management across the full experience journey. You will also align and collaborate closely with research and analytics functions from other teams, including CX, Product Experience (PX), DX, and EX, to deepen audience understanding and ensure a holistic brand performance.
The Work You’ll Do
Drive the Brand Insight Engine:
- Execute the North Star survey: Lead the end-to-end execution of our annual brand measurement study in collaboration with an external partner. You’ll own the analysis of key KPIs and synthesize findings into a high-level strength report for the organization.
- Lead strategic research: Act as the primary architect for specialized research projects — from scoping and methodology design to fielding and analysis. You’ll tackle strategic questions regarding brand positioning and customer or prospect sentiment.
Connect Brand to Business Performance:
- Architect brand analytics: Develop and refine brand performance models that demonstrate a clear correlation between brand strength and GTM success. You will prove how brand management directly impacts business growth and revenue metrics.
- Bridge the data gaps: Collaborate deeply with CX, PX, and DX teams to integrate brand data into a holistic view of the customer journey, ensuring a unified story across all touchpoints.
Market and Competitive Intelligence:
- Monitor the landscape: Conduct ongoing competitive intelligence and market analysis. You will identify emerging trends to ensure the brand remains ahead of the curve.
- Deliver actionable insights: Translate raw data into "so-what" narratives. You won't just report numbers; you will provide the strategic evidence that informs creative briefs and marketing execution.
Scale the Insights Function:
- Build in-house capability: Design and implement scalable research structures and workflows that allow the team to move faster and with more rigor.
- Champion a research culture: Socialize insights across the brand and marketing teams, ensuring that data-driven intelligence is at the heart of every creative and strategic decision.
The Qualifications you Need:
- Experience: A minimum of 5+ years in brand insights, audience research, or data analytics, ideally within a B2B sales cycle environment.
- Analytical and strategic: You possess a passion for understanding why people behave the way they do and can synthesize complex data into clear, compelling narratives.
- Collaborative: You thrive in a cross-functional environment, connecting dots between brand, CX, product, and GTM teams to build a holistic business picture.
- Science-driven: You maintain a high bar for rigor and clarity, managing multiple workstreams without losing sight of the details.
- Research mastery: Proficient in both qualitative and quantitative methodologies. You are comfortable with in-house tools (e.g. Qualtrics) as well as managing external vendors.
- Advanced analytics: Hands-on experience with statistical modeling, including conjoint analysis, regression modeling, and brand tracking health metrics.
- Data synthesis: Ability to work across fragmented data sources — integrating first-party data, third-party research, and market trends to provide strategic guidance.
- AI fluency: Proactive in using artificial intelligence technologies to drive efficiencies in research methods and data synthesis.
- Business acumen: A deep understanding of how brand management correlates with GTM success and overall business performance.
- Communication: Exceptional presentation skills; you can translate technical data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Project management: Proven ability to lead the end-to-end research lifecycle, from initial scoping and fielding to final socialization.
- Ideally hold a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, Social Sciences (Psychology or Sociology), or a related field.
