About the Role:
The Security Systems Technical Specialist will be a key member of CrowdStrike's Global Security team, providing technical expertise in the design, implementation, and maintenance of physical security systems worldwide. This remote position serves as the primary technical authority for physical security infrastructure, focusing on system architecture, integration, and global standardisation of security technologies.
What You'll Do:
Technical Design & Implementation
Lead the technical design and architecture of enterprise-wide physical security systems
Develop global standards for security system implementations
Create detailed technical specifications for new security system deployments
Oversee system integrations and ensure interoperability across global locations
Provide technical guidance for security system upgrades and modernisation projects
System Management & Optimisation
Manage global security technology platforms including Access Control, Video
Management, and Intrusion Detection systems
Develop and maintain system documentation and technical procedures
Conduct regular technical audits of security systems
Optimize system performance and recommend improvements
Oversee troubleshooting of complex technical issues
Program Development
Create and maintain technical standards and best practices
Develop technical training materials for regional security teams
Evaluate new security technologies and provide recommendations
Manage relationships with security system vendors and integrators
Support security technology budget planning and cost analysis
Project Management
Lead technical aspects of security system implementations globally
Coordinate with regional teams on system deployments
Manage technical project timelines and deliverables
Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders
Ensure quality control of system installations
What You'll Need:
Minimum 8 years' experience in security systems design and implementation
Extensive knowledge of enterprise security systems and integrations
Strong technical background in networked security systems
Experience with global system deployments and standards
Proven project management experience
Ability to work across time zones with global teams
