The Scrum Master will guide Agile teams, facilitate Scrum events, coach teams on Agile practices, and improve project delivery efficiency.
We are looking for passionate, multi-talented Scrum Master who will be able to perform in a fast-paced environment, managing the life cycle of projects by continuous monitoring and documenting, managing multiple stakeholders and delivering high-quality projects within the relevant scope, on time and on budget. As a Scrum Master you will work day-to-day with cross-functional Scrum Teams and organizations’ stakeholders. You will bring your experience, fresh ideas and creative thinking to support and foster the positive evolution of their practices. You will focus on guiding them towards continuously improving the way they work to achieve team and organization’s goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide and coach client teams in using Agile frameworks, methodologies, tools and Scrum practices, providing hands-on coaching as required at any organizational level
- Act as the Scrum Master for our client agile teams in a single implementation project or large digital transformation and operational excellence programs
- Enable a high performing, self-organizing, dynamic team, minimizing impediments to work product implementation progress
- Ensure scrum teams are using standard agile delivery tools and templates for all processes including documenting and tracking features, user stories, acceptance criteria, etc.
- Ensure scrum teams achieve their objectives keeping the teams focused on their product and Sprint goals and end-user satisfaction
- Support the scrum team in capacity planning, scrum board usage, sprint backlog determination, velocity monitoring and burn down/up charts
- Support Product Owner in backlog management and refinement
- Facilitate program increment, daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint review/demo and retrospective meetings
- Identify delivery impediments and risks, and recommend appropriate solutions or perform escalation to the appropriate levels and stakeholders as needed
- Responsible for coordination among teams (e.g. DevOps, Architects and other Scrum Masters) and assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency and collaboration
- Enable reporting on the status of delivery using agreed agile metrics, e.g. velocity, burndown charts, predictability, efficiency indicator, innovation rate, etc.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field
- 5+ years’ experience working as a Scrum Master and/or PM
- Consolidated knowledge and application of agile methodologies (e.g. based on Scum, Kanban) as well as any Agile scaling frameworks (e.g., SAFe, Spotify, LeSS, Scrum of Scums)
- Knowledge and experience with agile delivery management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence)
- Knowledge and experience in identifying and applying Objectives & Key Results (OKR) framework
- Excellent problem solver in a collaborative way
- Ability to work in multicultural projects and environments
- Proven experience in one or more of the following competencies
- Experience in designing Agile models, blueprints, and Agile Transformation roadmaps
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical writing and client presentations (Greek and English)
