We partner with leading government and enterprise organisations to build innovative, secure, and scalable systems using modern cloud technologies.

    About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Scrum Master to lead Agile delivery across complex, multi-supplier cloud environments. You will work with cross-functional engineering and infrastructure teams to drive Agile practices, enhance collaboration, and ensure the effective delivery of secure, high-performance digital solutions.

The role involves coaching delivery teams, removing impediments, facilitating Agile ceremonies, and working closely with stakeholders to deliver against strategic outcomes. You will play a key role in enabling continuous improvement, promoting DevOps alignment, and ensuring adherence to best practices in scalability, availability, and cost efficiency.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive Scrum Master who thrives in technically advanced, cloud-native environments and enjoys empowering high-performing teams.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Lead and coach cross-functional Agile teams in Scrum, Kanban, and XP methodologies.

    • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews.

    • Work with Product Owners and stakeholders to manage backlogs, prioritisation, and delivery cadence.

    • Support technical and delivery teams in meeting sprint commitments and removing blockers.

    • Champion the use of Agile metrics and retrospectives to drive measurable improvements.

    • Collaborate with DevOps engineers to align Agile delivery with CI/CD pipelines and automation goals.

    • Promote transparency, accountability, and collaboration across distributed teams.

    • Facilitate effective use of collaboration tools such as Git, Jira, and Confluence.

    • Ensure delivery aligns with agreed NFRs (non-functional requirements) such as cost, scalability, and availability.

    • Contribute to process improvement, risk mitigation, and Agile maturity across delivery teams.

    Key Skills & Experience

    Essential:

    • Certified Scrum Master (CSM, CSP-SM) or equivalent Agile certification.

    • Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Lead in large-scale IT and business transformation programmes (preferably public sector).

    • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, XP) and project management principles.

    • Hands-on experience working with software development, DevOps, and cloud infrastructure teams.

      • Linux administration

      • Packer

      • Collaboration tools (Git, Jira, Confluence, etc.)

    • Excellent stakeholder management skills, including experience engaging with senior technical and programme-level audiences.

    • Experience working within Agile environments using Continuous Integration (CI) practices.

    • Ability to articulate logical designs and understand how they translate into physical infrastructure.

    • Must be SC Clearable or hold active SC Clearance.

    Desirable:

    • Working knowledge of:

      • Kubernetes

      • Docker

      • HashiCorp tools (Packer, Consul, Vault, etc.)

      • Other networking technologies

    • Experience working in cloud-native environments.

    • Practical understanding of non-functional requirements (NFRs) and how to balance cost, scalability, and performance.

    • Experience applying Kanban and Agile maturity assessment techniques.

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene

If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
