About the role:

We’re growing, and we’re looking for an experienced SAP Primary Support Engineer to join our growing SAP practice and play a key role in supporting mission-critical SAP environments for our clients.

This is more than a traditional support role. You’ll take end-to-end ownership of SAP cases, combining your technical ABAP expertise with strong functional SAP knowledge to investigate issues, identify root causes and deliver effective solutions.

You’ll work closely with customers, delivery teams and technical specialists, helping ensure their SAP environments remain reliable, efficient and continually improving.

What you’ll be doing:

As our SAP Primary Support Engineer, you'll:

  • Own & solve SAP cases: Provide expert SAP support across modules such as SD, FICO, HR/Payroll, WM, BW and/or MM, investigating issues, identifying root causes and delivering effective solutions
  • Configure & optimise: Troubleshoot, configure and optimise SAP solutions, ensuring reliable performance and a great user experience
  • Build client relationships: Act as a trusted point of contact, bridge technical and business teams, lead client discussions and communicate solutions clearly
  • Deliver quality solutions: Work with SAP delivery and development teams to implement, test and validate fixes while meeting agreed SLAs and quality standards
  • Drive continuous improvement: Identify recurring issues, recommend preventative measures and implement improvements that enhance system functionality and client experience
  • Stay ahead of SAP innovation: Keep up to date with SAP releases, best practices, industry trends and emerging technologies, including AI, and apply these to client solutions
  • Share knowledge: Contribute technical insights, best practices and lessons learned across the SAP practice.

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for an experienced SAP professional who combines strong functional and technical capability with a customer-first mindset.

You’ll ideally bring:

  • 8+ years of SAP functional experience, with strong expertise in one or more SAP modules such as SD, FICO, HR/Payroll, WM, BW and/or MM
  • Strong hands-on SAP ABAP experience and a good understanding of technical SAP environments
  • Proven experience investigating, diagnosing and resolving complex SAP issues
  • Strong SAP configuration and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience working across technical and functional teams to deliver effective solutions
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and develop practical solutions
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with clients and business stakeholders
  • A proven ability to take ownership of cases and drive issues through to resolution while meeting SLAs
  • A collaborative mindset with a willingness to share knowledge and support team development
  • A continuous improvement mindset, with an interest in SAP innovation, AI and emerging technologies.

SAP never stands still, and neither do we.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys solving complex challenges, building trusted client relationships and staying ahead of new technology and innovation.

If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you!

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene

If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
