About the Role

As a Bullhorn Salesforce Product Manager, reporting to our Senior Director of Product Management you will be responsible for defining and delivering key product features. You will work closely with customers, product & development leaders and scrum teams to provide direction, guidance and support. The role requires in-depth product knowledge and an understanding of workflow and feature relationship.

Why this job is important:

A key Salesforce product in our portfolio will be steered by the product manager in this role.  Significant, high-profile customers are expected to be part of the strategic thinking demonstrated by this individual.  Engaging with these customers will also play a role in the success of the individual and the product.

As a Salesforce Product Manager, a typical day might include:

  • Reviewing and curating input from customers, prospects, internal stakeholders, the competitive landscape in relation to existing features and functionality and gaps.

  • Engaging with customers at a strategic level to understand their initiatives and how our existing products support their goals.

  • Articulating and generate both the short and the long-term vision for a feature set and defining key results for the organization to rally around.

  • Collaborating with Technical Product Management, Tech Leads, and UX Designers to resolve issues during both design and implementation.

  • Participating in discovery calls with users to validate the UX for a new feature or offering.

  • Writing excellent product pitches that capture the strategy, rationale, and approach all while grounding decisions with supporting evidence and data.

  • Writing release documentation & training cross functional teams on new product enablement.

This job might be for you if:

  • You have a strong command of the Salesforce product suite.

  • Previous experience running a Salesforce ISV application or implementing the Salesforce product.

  • You’re familiar with Salesforce flows, custom objects, API, data models, reports and dashboards.

  • Your communication skills are exceptional. You relish writing in a detailed fashion when required and marvel at crafting a concise yet high-fidelity headline.

  • You enjoy thinking about challenges and opportunities – you are comfortable working with clients and internal audiences to gather information, discuss requirements and articulate roadmaps.

  • You've loved every moment of the 5+ years you've spent working with products, getting into the weeds and being a go-to expert for your product.

  • You enjoy managing development projects from start to finish—gathering requirements, defining release plans, building specifications, collaborating with Development and QA, and managing internal and external communication.

  • You like to work closely with internal audiences (product marketing, sales, support, services) to articulate product progress, benefits and roadmap.

  • You are a self-starter and accountable—you dive in and ask questions, hit your deadlines, and communicate.

  • You are a team player. You embrace working in a culture where priorities shift and where you will wear multiple hats.

  • You are comfortable working with remote teams for engineering and favour direct, low-context communication.

  • You have a growth mindset and constantly seek feedback and ways to improve.

Bonus points for:

  • The completion of numerous Salesforce Trailheads

  • You've been a project consultant or played a product role at a large executive search firm

  • Previous experience working as a recruiter or within the staffing industry

  • Experience working with enterprise B2B applications

  • Additional language skills (German, Dutch, French or Spanish)

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene

If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
