The Sales Representative generates sales for ticketing and hospitality packages, manages sales agreements, interacts with clients, and provides event support.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Sales, Marketing or other related field preferred
- Two to four years of corporate business experience required
- Prior experience in the sports industry with exposure to event management or event sales preferred
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills to include mail merges and intermediate level Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Salesforce / CRM experience preferred
- Prior experience heavy volume of outbound sales calls
- Able to safely operate a utility vehicle such as, but not limited to, golf carts, utility carts, and shuttle carts
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
- Sell ticketing and hospitality packages through new business leads and upselling as well as leading renewal sales for existing or previous clients for PGA TOUR Operated Golf Tournaments
- Circulate and manage administration of Sales Agreements to renewal clients within the established deadlines
- Follow up on sales leads and current client base regularly
- Enter all sales contracts into the Ticketmaster Archtics system and forward approved copies to new and renewal clients within the established deadlines
- Generate the internal sales reports and validate the data to ensure that all sales are captured accurately
- Interact with clients to answer questions and assist with incremental sales
- Monitor and track all outbound sales calls/contacts
- Assist the Manager Event Services with the post-sale process to include wrap-up reports, feedback/critiques, invoicing, client relations, merchandising/inventory control, etc
- During tournament week, interact with clients to ensure all of their needs are met, prospect new clients, assist Sales Director to secure repeat purchases, and conduct fan surveys as requested
- Attend various community and charitable functions as a representative of tournament
- Special projects or other duties as assigned
