Are you a commercially driven, persuasive professional with a technical edge? Are you well-versed in thermodynamics, steam applications, and industrial refrigeration? If so, this opportunity as Sales Manager may be a perfect fit.

In this role, you’ll lead sales efforts for our innovative high-temperature ammonia heat pumps—designed for pressurized hot water and steam generation—throughout the EU. These systems are transforming heating processes in industries like district heating, food & beverage, paper, textiles, wood, and more.

You'll work directly with end users, consultants, and contractors to cultivate long-term partnerships and accelerate growth.

Reporting to the Sales Director Europe for Vilter by Copeland, you’ll collaborate closely with project management, order fulfillment, and after-sales teams.

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Managing and expanding relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities.
  • Building a strong network across target industries.
  • Providing technical insight into system integration and benefits.
  • Creating and executing strategic sales plans to grow market share.
  • Delivering tailored presentations and proposals to clients.
  • Coordinating with technical teams to resolve customer concerns and ensure successful installations.
  • Staying informed on trends in thermodynamics, steam tech, and industrial refrigeration.
  • Representing the company at national and international trade fairs.
  • Preparing bids and managing proposals and pricing documentation.
  • Leading contract negotiations and closing deals.

Required qualifications and experience:

  • Solid technical expertise in thermodynamics, steam systems, and industrial refrigeration.
  • Proven sales and negotiation abilities.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-driven with a proactive mindset.
  • Experience engaging with EPCM firms, public sector entities, and the energy industry.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license.

Preferred qualifications and experience:

  • Multi-lingual capabilities, especially German, French, or a Scandinavian language.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and pipeline management tools.
  • Previous experience working with EPCs, system integrators, or energy service companies (ESCOs).
  • Exposure to decarbonization and sustainability-driven projects within the industrial sector.
