Beyond is looking to add a Country Lead to lead our sales team in the United Kingdom territory. Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will have the opportunity to lead our new business efforts in the UK. This is a lead position - 70% of your time is dedicated to your own sales efforts (individual contributor tasks) and 30% of the time dedicated to leading the strategy for the UK market and aligning the team in a non-line manager capacity. As our Country Lead, you'll be responsible for:

  • Representing the brand in the territory and being the visible face of Beyond among Short Term Rental associations, leaders, and the media.
  • Creating the country strategy across partnerships, marketing, BDR team and new sales in cooperation with leaders from those departments.
  • Becoming the main source of knowledge of the market (trends, events, legal framework, players...) and providing market-specific strategic recommendations to the Sales Manager to help lead our growth strategy in EMEA.
  • Acquiring new business for our company and leading the team to achieve ARR (annual recurring revenue) targets for the region as well as achieving your own individual ARR targets.
  • Providing useful feedback to allow us to improve internal processes.
  • Supporting the different members of your team on the preparation and planning of sales presentations/ demos as well as joining conversations with key prospects in your territory.

So what kind of person are we looking for in this role? The person who will be successful in this role will:

  • Be a Leader: You will have the ability to lead and inspire the team to achieve goals as well as help shape the future of your territory
  • Be a Builder: Our industry is growing and so is our ability to capitalize on that growth - and we need you to be building, training, and developing the team to be a world class, effective sales team. We also need you to form valuable industry relationships to help your team accelerate growth.
  • Be Methodical: Sales efficacy comes down to a series of inputs and outputs, and it is your job to make sure we are hitting those inputs and outputs, as well as optimizing for improvement along the way.  

Now that we’ve told you what the job looks like, here are the qualifications we're looking for in a candidate:

  • 3+ years of full-cycle sales experience in SaaS and preferably 1+ years of sales management/ team lead experience
  • Ability to travel 1-2 weeks of travel per quarter, 3-4 weeks of travel seasonally (Q1 / Q4) 
  • Strong understanding of and respect for selling into the UK market
  • Passion for working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment. 
  • Highly motivated, driven, and a self-starter 
  • Vacation Rental industry experience is a plus
