Full Time Position - 2 or 3 days in Glasgow office with 2 or 3 days from home.

Salary - Up to £35,000 depending on experience.

Role Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with Operations, Risk or Data experience who is keen to grow their career in financial services.

You might be a Financial Services professional with 2 years experience who has previously worked in an Operations or Compliance role at a financial institution.

Full and detailed training will be provided

Skills and Experience

  • Gathering data from websites, Bloomberg, Form ADV / 13F, Audited Accounts for vendor systems (SNL) or other nominated sources, & including adverse news screening
  • Carrying out analysis on the data collected in order to recommend a client Credit Tier
  • Input of associated data accurately into risk infrastructure
  • Reviewing breach and fail alerts
  • Storage of the information used in assessment work undertaken for audit traceability
  • Providing Team Lead support and manage resources to complete daily processes in line with agreed SLA’s.
  • 4 eye review checks of Analyst recommendations with respect to:
    - Limit Threshold Alerts
    - Periodic tier reviews
    - New client onboarding requests
    - Fail monitoring Limited scope approval authority otherwise all decisions need to be signed off by Credit Risk
  • Support credit decisions with more detailed desktop analysis where clients are looking to increase limits above matrix
  • Maintain accurate process documentation, updating to incorporate identified enhancements as processes evolve
  • Prioritise other ad hoc tasks related to Settlement Risk Management
  • Assist Credit Risk team with performance of UAT testing where necessary in respect to strategic change, including analysis of credit risk and vendor data lineage for continued enhancement of process automation.
  • Presentation of monthly MI as required
