As a Regulatory Strategy Lead in the Risk, CCOR, and Corporate Functions Regulatory Engagement Management team, you lead the firm's regulatory exams and supervisory engagements. You collaborate with senior leaders across Risk Management & Compliance and other corporate functions to provide strategic advice and manage regulatory interactions. You help us deliver consistent, high-quality responses to regulators, ensuring our business grows responsibly. In this role, you gain broad exposure to regulatory issues and maintain high visibility through regular engagement with senior stakeholders.
Job responsibilities
  • Lead regulatory examinations and ongoing supervisory engagements from initiation to completion
  • Oversee and coordinate recurring supervision meetings between Wholesale Credit Risk and primary regulators
  • Advise and challenge business and functional leaders in preparation for regulatory engagements
  • Collaborate with regulatory engagement managers and stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and approach
  • Escalate issues promptly and effectively during regulatory engagements
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with regulators and internal partners
  • Partner across lines of business to deliver comprehensive responses to regulatory inquiries
  • Provide clear reporting to senior stakeholders on regulatory engagement activities and focus areas
  • Maintain accurate records of exams, meetings, and management information system reporting
  • Oversee and coordinate presentation and briefing materials for regulatory engagements
  • Stay informed of global regulatory activities and support consistent messaging across regions

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 7 years of experience at a large financial institution, regulator, consulting, or legal firm
  • Experience in risk management, control management, or compliance
  • Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize to deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to perform under pressure and manage competing priorities under tight deadlines
  • Strong track record of managing senior-level relationships
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills, including active listening and summarizing complex information
  • Knowledge of regulators' exam processes and regulatory matters

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Experience in credit risk management
